Meet the Team
Barry is well known throughout the furniture industry for being a pioneer in the manufacturing sector, bringing innovative workspace solutions to market that have now gone on to become staples of the office. His position as CEO means that his commitment to everything Koplus knows no bounds, and he involves himself with every part of our business. Barry lives in Sussex with his wife and CFO of Koplus, Fiona and is a bit of a muso; loves art and socialising.

Fiona balances the books with forensic precision—nothing escapes her Scottish eye for detail. With a degree in teaching and now based in Sussex, she valiantly attempts to educate the English, usually with more humour than success. When she’s not masterminding finances, Fiona is indulging in fine food, good wine, and globe-trotting adventures. Above all, she adores time with her grandchild (and she politely reminds us, her own children too).

Martin Englefield, Head of Operations at Koplus UK, is the man who keeps everything ticking like a Swiss watch—though with a lot more charm. A walking encyclopaedia of Koplus products, Martin ensures the logistics puzzle always fits together. When he’s not orchestrating operations, he’s jetting off to the Far East, where sunshine and relaxation briefly replace spreadsheets and schedules—until the next big project calls him back into action.

Steve Butler, Head of Strategy at Koplus UK, is a familiar face in the furniture industry whose career has evolved from Sales Director to master strategist, steering the business toward growth. Beyond boardrooms, Steve rocks out as lead singer of Margot Escargot—yes, that band that made it onto This Morning with Holly & Phil! When not singing or strategising, he’s immersed in ancient history, good books, great pubs, globe-trotting, and cheering on Brentford FC.

Louise Adams, Head of Sales at Koplus UK, may be the new kid on the block, but she’s already winning hearts (and sales) with her trademark diligence and unstoppable work ethic. Well-loved by dealers from her past roles, Lou is proof that charm and determination make a powerful duo. Away from the numbers, she treasures time with her children yet still finds energy to socialise—fuelling her drive to push the sales team sky-high.

Sarah Trown, Key Account Manager at Koplus UK, is one of the team’s longest-serving stars, bringing a wealth of senior experience from across the furniture industry. Trusted and knowledgeable, she’s a go-to for both colleagues and customers. Away from the office, Sarah swaps Zoom calls for saddles, competing in horse events with the same determination she shows at work. When not riding, she’s happily kept busy by her children—her other full-time pursuit!

Andy Huckerby, Regional Sales Manager for the North & Midlands, is a well connected figure in the furniture industry, especially within the world of Architects & Designers. His enthusiasm for seeing projects through and building lasting relationships is second to none. A true football fanatic, Andy coaches the local District side and still laces up his boots when he can. A proud Yorkshireman and loyal Leeds fan, he now braves life over the border in Lancashire and oversees our Manchester showroom!

Joe Stringer, Sales Manager at Koplus UK, is a driven new recruit already making waves with his self-motivation and passion for building strong customer relationships. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Joe thrives on chasing sales goals with the same energy he brings to the pitch. A loyal Arsenal fan and regular footballer, he balances his sporting spirit with lively evenings out alongside friends, family, and his girlfriend.

Marc Gillman, Installation Manager at Koplus UK, is better known to the team as BAM—a name as solid as his approach to getting every installation spot-on. With a background in high-level security, Marc now channels his precision into ensuring Koplus products land perfectly in place. Outside work, he swaps tools for drumsticks, keeping his love of rock music alive, and most importantly, cherishes time spent with his daughter.

Catherine Ram, Admin Manager & Marketing Assistant at Koplus UK, is the team’s organisational powerhouse—keeping procedures, orders, and purchasing running smoother than a well-oiled machine. Loved and respected by all, Cat ensures everyone stays on track (whether they like it or not!). Recently married, she’s embracing family life with joy, while her creative side shines through in handicrafts—producing unique pieces to wear or sell, proving she’s as inventive at home as she is at work.

Jack Barnes, Admin Assistant at Koplus UK, is the resident Brixton Mod—bringing style, swagger, and a sharp eye for fashion into the office and showroom. Behind the cool exterior, Jack keeps the wheels turning with admin support, from placing orders to preparing quotes and lending a hand in the showroom. An accomplished musician and poet, his creative streak adds a touch of rebellion—proof that paperwork and punk spirit can go hand in hand!

Ben Tasker, Operations Assistant at Koplus UK, is a fresh face who’s already become a vital cog in the operations machine. A true wizard in the warehouse, Ben makes sure products head out the door on time and in perfect condition, keeping everything running smoothly. Away from the hustle, he’s a big motors enthusiast with a passion for cars—and, like Barry, proudly cheers on his beloved Brighton, win or lose.
